This year the Primary Flight event in Miami, FL was reported to have over 80 artists, and is slated by some to become the worlds largest outdoor street art event.

Thank you for everyone who came out and made our LA premiere such a huge success. Laemmle has agreed to give us another Friday night – this Friday the 13th! There will be a 7:50 and 10:10 showings. And I, Jon Reiss, will come to the 10:10 screening for a Q&A. I hope to see you there for this last opportunity to see Bomb It on the big screen.

So last weekend Banksy, along with other stencilists including Blek Le Rat, Logan Hicks and Pure Evil had a stencil ho-down. Check out what the artists did with an abandoned tunnel under Waterloo station in London. If only every city sponsored art take backs of forgotten spaces!

Bomb It

The Bronx subway “bombers” of the ’70s had no idea they’d inspire an international movement, but overseas taggers took the spray paint and ran with it. In this graffiti doc, due in theaters and on DVD in May, Blek Le Rat stencils rodents along Parisian curbs; São Paulo artist Zezao “fat-caps” surreal mindscapes onto sewage tunnels; and Tokyo mom Belx2 splatters walls with little girl pictograms.
